DENCYTOL+ ORAL RINSE

Dencytol+ is an alcohol-free oral rinse solution that works effectively against gum diseases and oral malodor. It is also effective against sore throat and mouth sores. Doctors and dentists may also use Dencytol+ as a pre- and post-operative rinse for oral surgery.

Dencytol+ is composed of chlorhexidine gluconate (CHX) 0.05%, a broad-spectrum antibacterial that is considered the gold standard among antiplaque and gingivitis agents; cetylpyridinium chloride (CPC) 0.05%, another broad spectrum antibacterial with fungicidal action; and zinc, which when combined with chlorhexidine, acts synergistically to reduce the volatile sulfur compound levels in the mouth to prevent oral malodor. Dencytol+ is an innovative product. It is the first and only CHX+CPC+Zinc oral rinse that has been launched in the Philippine market.

FLEXAN TABLET

Flexan is a pain reliever that may be used for mild to severely moderate pain. It is also effective for fever reduction. Flexan has the “power of two” because it combines the anti-inflammatory effect of 200 mg ibuprofen, equivalent to most non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) but with less gastric irritation because of the lower dose of ibuprofen, and the safe analgesic and anti-pyretic profile of 325 mg paracetamol. Flexan is both centrally- and peripherally-acting so it is more effective for treating pain than either ibuprofen or paracetamol alone.

Flexan Tablets is available in boxes of 100 tablets.

CLIN-D CAPSULE

Clin-D is clindamycin 300mg, a lincosamide antibiotic usually used to treat infections caused by anaerobic bacteria. Clin- D is classified by the Bureau of Food and Drug (BFAD) as a prescription medicine and may only be bought with a doctor’s presciption.
